Hi, this is Lynn, of Lynn's Compassionate Pet Care.  We have relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina. We are excited to offer the same loving care with our pet sitting and dog walking services for the North Raleigh area. 

Going out of town (or even having to work long hours) when you love your pets can be very stressful; for us and for them.  Letting them stay in their own home while you're away provides them the opportunity to stay where they are most safe and comfortable.  Being able to stay on the same routine, with the same sights, sounds, and smells, while also eating the same food and getting the same exercise; all this reduces the stress of you being gone ten-fold.  And no "travel stress" for your pet either! 

In your absence, we will come to your home and take care of your babies,  spending quality time with them and taking care of them exactly how you would.  Feeding, giving fresh water, exercising, scooping litter boxes, playing, give medication, and provide lots of love and TLC. We provide up to 3 visits per day. You will also receive daily updates via text or email, and we love sending pictures! 

All of these details will be discussed at your free in-home consultation.  This will give you the confidence that even if you can't be there, your baby is in the loving and capable hands of a professional.

A little about me....

Opening my own Professional Pet Sitting business has been a long dream in the making.  Caring for animals has always been my first and true calling.  However, my dreams of becoming a Veterinarian were doused in college when I realized that I was a bit too tender-hearted to make a good one.  So instead I obtained an engineering degree and for many years my love for animals had to take the form of volunteer work and becoming a pet-parent and foster parent to many.   I've shared my life with many animals over the years including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, and even sugar gliders.  

I finally decided I did not belong behind a desk and decided to pursue my true calling. I began by spending several years working as a full-time Animal Caretaker for a large Veterinarian and Boarding Facility where we also provided doggie daycare.  This incredibly rewarding experience taught me even more about the care of animals and animal behavior and finally brought me to where I knew I was ready to make a career out of caring for their needs. 

Lynn's Compassionate Pet Care has been providing pet sitting and dog walking services for over 5 years in Madison, Alabama, and is now thrilled to provide the same loving care to the North Raleigh area!

STANDARD pet sitting VISIT

During a standard visit, which is offered in 20-minute or 30-minute time frames, I will come to your home and provide:

• Feeding and fresh water

• Provide play and/or exercise time

• Let dogs out for bathroom breaks

• Cleaning litter boxes

• Administering medication if needed

• Providing lots of love and TLC

• Bringing in mail or rotating lights as needed

dog Walk

Daily dog walking can provide a much needed outlet for all that energy so many of our pups have.  A standard walk is 20-30 minutes and is only offered as a midday choice.  A 45 minute walk is also available.  These are one-on-one walks in your neighborhood.

MID-DAY Check-in

Do you just need someone to come check in on your pet while you're at work or can't make it home?  I can do that too.  This check in can be the same as a standard visit, or could be a mid-day walk, or a combination of both.  Again, it is customized to your needs.

puppy visit

Getting a puppy is exciting, but it is also hard work! Consistency and keeping the same routine will greatly reduce the time needed for potty training.  And regular enrichment activities and play will decrease destructive behavior and chewing.  I have vast experience raising puppies and am here to help.

Providing transport to and from vet or grooming appointments when you can't.

Overnight Boarding in my home

Overnight boarding in my home is offered with limited availablity.

Maybe you're taking your pet with you but would still like someone to come over and check the mail, rotate lights, water the plants, take out the garbage, or change the birdfeeders?  I offer this service as well.

PUPPY BOARDING / ONE-ON-ONE

Going out of town or working overtime is very hard to do when you have a new puppy.  I provide one-on-one time in my home caring for your new family member.  I will offer the consistency of training and love your puppy needs in early development and you can have peace of mind that even if you can't be there, they are in loving and capable hands.

DOG PARK OUTTING

Perhaps you'd just like your dog to get out a little more, do some doggie socializing and run off-leash for a bit.  Trips to the dog park are a great way to do this.  Outtings can be scheduled for a 45, 60, or 90-minute trip.  These can be great for a once a week treat or worked into part of your dog's daily routine.
